Special events

Here are special events that take place in our church as christian life goes far beyond Sunday services.

Winter Discipleship Camp

January 3-9, 2011

Spiritual Warfare

Speaker: Rev. Terry Baxter

This year there was a continuation of the last year's topic "Spiritual Warfare". This time we went into details of the battle every Christian is in, whether he realizes this or not. Also, it helped to see and understand better how the devil works in the lives of those who are not saved and how they need a Savior very much, with His power, authority and freedom that He brings. The camp was helpful for us to understand and give definition to various processes which take place in our lives and receive a bigger picture of God's work and plan.

Women's Conference

July 2010

Once per season we organize a conference for women. The central idea of these conferences is discipleship and encouragement. We also pursue and develop unity and teamwork among young Christians with the help of such conferences. We try to create homely and friendly atmosphere for the attendants. The schedule consists of the following main components: sermons, small groups, prayer (collective and individual), worship, drama, creativity and leisure.

This year the summer conference took place on July 10, 2010. The topic was "To endure to the end".

Crimea Trip (MMM)

July 2010

This time instead of our planned Monthly Men's Meeting we went to Crimea for 4 days! It was a really wonderful trip to be out in God's creation and to enjoy its beauty.

However, apart from the magnificent scenery of the mountains and the sea, our focus was to show the importance that every member of the body needs to be involved in discipleship - that is to be a disciple of someone and at the same time a teacher to someone else. It was a continuation of what we spoke about last August, when we were in the Carpathians.

Discipleship Winter Camp

January 2010

This year the theme of our Discipleship Winter Camp was "Spiritual Warfare".

We were quite blessed to acquire this particular teaching. It broadened our perspective on the spiritual realm around us, equipped us with strategies how to defend ourselves and attack when needed. The main speaker was our guest Terry Baxter, and we all benefited from the fact that the whole program was put together in such a way so that to support the main theme.
